Fair 2025 Highlights
A Year of Firsts for the Cariboo

Lone Butte Craft Fair
Lone Butte, BC – November 1–2, 2025

This was a year of firsts for OLCC in the Cariboo. Naida, MJ, and Liana attended the Lone Butte Craft Fair for the first time and were warmly received by attendees and fellow vendors alike. As this was our first craft fair in the region, it was also our first opportunity to share the OLCC mission with the Lone Butte community.
Many vendors expressed interest in learning more about OLCC, often in between conversations with visitors to our table. We truly appreciated the friendliness and curiosity of everyone we met.
We look forward to returning and participating in the Lone Butte Christmas Craft Fair next year.

Simonds Elementary Holiday Market
Langley, BC – November 14–15, 2025

For the past 11 years, Naida and Liana have proudly hosted a table for OLCC at the Simonds Elementary Holiday Market. With Liana’s children and grandchildren having attended Simonds, each year feels like a joyful reunion. They were once again warmly welcomed by staff, vendors, and longtime supporters.
Over the years, OLCC has become well known within the Simonds community. It is a pleasure to see familiar faces return annually—whether it’s the woman who adds a new ornament to her tree each year or someone discovering OLCC for the very first time.
By sharing stories and photos of the children we have helped, we continue to see firsthand the impact of our supporters’ generosity. Thanks to those who purchased goods and made donations, we were able to fund another life-changing operation for a child in need.
We look forward to returning in 2026 for our 12th year.

Cariboo Christmas Fair 2025
Quesnel, BC – November 22–23, 2025

MJ and Naida attended the Cariboo Christmas Fair at Correlieu Secondary School on November 22–23. With over 80 vendors, it was a busy and well-attended event. Setup began Friday evening, followed by two full days of engaging with the community.
This was our first time participating in this fair, and it proved to be one of the best-organized craft fairs we have attended. Kudos to Heather and her team for an outstanding job.
Throughout the weekend, MJ and Naida shared the story of OLCC with a large number of attendees. We were especially excited to see how the generosity of supporters now allows us to help even more children in Kenya with critical medical needs.
We have already registered to attend the 2026 Cariboo Christmas Fair.

Winter Holiday Market Quesnel Farmer’s Market
Quesnel, BC – December 6, 2025

MJ participated in the Winter Holiday Market at the Quesnel Farmer’s Market and was warmly welcomed by both attendees and fellow vendors. This event marked our first opportunity to share the OLCC mission with this community, and there was strong interest from vendors and visitors alike.
We truly appreciated the supportive atmosphere and look forward to returning as a vendor next year.
